Beta-testing abolished the Brink
Director of the studio Splash Damage, Richard Ham officially announced that open beta will not Brink.
Director of the studio Splash Damage, Richard Ham officially announced that open beta will not Brink. Instead of demonstrating to users of crude project, the developers decided to bring it to mind their own, behind closed doors and without too much advertising. Recall that the shooter Brink goes on sale in Europe on May 20. The game will be released on three platforms - PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Splash Damage team still believes that the beta and demo versions are a very important step in the development of any game. According to Richard Ham, users always want to see the new draft polished to a shine, and no matter that it`s just `probe`, everything must be perfect. With similar problems developers face when testing Enemy Territory: Quake Wars, so it was decided that Brink did not leave the walls of the studio, until fully ready. Nevertheless, the chance to see the shooter before the official release there is still. Now the developers are busy and balance adjustments, figuring out what works and what does not. Therefore, once the Brink will appear in public, they may change their decision. In any case, publisher Bethesda Softworks will tell us about it
