Continues to display additional information about the new model PlayStation 3 under the code CECH-3000B, which goes on sale in Japan before the end of June. We have previously reported that the PS3 will update almost half a kilogram lighter predecessor and will consume less energy. However, it now appears that the new model PlayStation 3 also will be much better protected against piracy. A reliable source, who wished to remain anonymous, told the staff portal GamerTell, that CECH-3000B will receive an enhanced copy protection. Now the authentication mechanism will be built not drive to the motherboard, as is done in the current version of the PS3, but in itself the Blu-ray. Apparently, the license will drive some special mark that allows the drive to distinguish them from pirated copies. It is worth noting that a similar copy protection system uses Microsoft, however, not very good. Apparently, Sony somehow take into account the errors of his main rival. True, to get an update on PlayStation 3 can not all. Apparently, the model CECH-3000B is designed for sale only in Japan. This was reported by representatives of the British Branch of Sony. They stated that they currently can not say anything specific about the possible emergence of a new PlayStation 3 model outside Japan. Tags: Sony, PS3
